Creative Planning Boosts Women's Leadership, Finance Education

    • Creative Planning expands the Women’s Forum to empower women through financial literacy, leadership development, and community engagement.
    • The forum, active since 2015, hosts virtual and in-person events focusing on wealth building, well-being, and professional growth.
    • The 2026 theme, 'Cultivating Peace, Perseverance and Prosperity', highlights holistic development, featuring events like the March 18 virtual session with Smithsonian curator Rachel F. Seidman.

Creative Planning, one of the nation’s largest registered investment advisors (RIAs), has announced the expansion of the Women's Forum, Powered by Creative Planning, an initiative dedicated to empowering women through financial education, leadership development, and community engagement. Originally founded by CAP STRAT and later integrated into SageView Advisory Group, the program now continues under the Creative Planning brand following the firm’s acquisition of SageView in 2025. This expansion reinforces Creative Planning’s commitment to helping women build financial literacy, grow personal wealth, and advance professionally.

The Women's Forum, created in 2015 by Creative Planning directors Barbara Best and Nancy Rizzuto, was designed to provide women with a supportive community focused on personal, professional, and financial success. Over the years, the forum has hosted hundreds of events, connecting thousands of women to educational programs, thought leaders, and peers in areas such as finance, well-being, leadership, purposeful living, and personal fulfillment. By bringing women together in an interactive, learning-focused environment, the initiative fosters growth and knowledge sharing that extends beyond traditional financial training.

We’re thrilled to support the Women’s Forum and their mission of financially empowering women”, said Creative Planning President and CEO Peter Mallouk. He highlighted the importance of preparing women for the future, particularly as they are expected to inherit a significant portion of wealth in the coming decades, part of the projected $124 trillion ‘great wealth transfer.’ Mallouk noted that women have historically faced barriers to building wealth and emphasized that the forum offers essential resources to help women succeed in both their personal and professional lives, cultivate leadership skills, and gain peace of mind.

Under Creative Planning, the forum will have expanded resources to grow its educational offerings nationwide. Best and Rizzuto emphasized the forum’s mission to address issues that matter to women, including spiritual, physical, and mental well-being, aging, purposeful living, leadership, and sustainable wealth building. They expressed gratitude for Creative Planning’s support in enabling women to enhance their economic opportunities, pursue professional advancement, and reach their full potential.

The Women’s Forum hosts multiple events annually, including eight to nine virtual gatherings and three to four in-person events, all structured around a central theme. The 2026 theme, 'Cultivating Peace, Perseverance and Prosperity', reflects the forum’s holistic approach to education and personal growth. In celebration of International Women’s Day, the forum will host a virtual event on Wednesday, March 18, featuring guest speaker Rachel F. Seidman, Ph.D., curator at the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum. The session, inspired by the museum project We Do Declare: Women’s Voices on Independence, will offer participants insights into women’s historical and contemporary roles in shaping society, blending cultural education with leadership and financial learning.

By combining financial literacy, professional development, and community support, the Women’s Forum continues to empower women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve long-term personal and professional success. Through its expanded programming under Creative Planning, the initiative seeks to reach more women, offering transformative opportunities for growth and financial empowerment.
