Fastenal Company today announced a new corporate partnership with the National FFA Organization, extending its decades-long support for agricultural education and the development of young people. The National FFA Organization, formerly known as Future Farmers of America, is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. The new, broader partnership is a major step for Fastenal in supporting the organization and the agricultural community.
Casey Miller, senior executive vice president of sales at Fastenal, echoed significant enthusiasm for the opportunity to further invest in the organization. He expressed the importance of agriculture, farming, and food production to the future of the nation and validated Fastenal's commitment to serving the people and communities who will be charged with shaping that future. Under the expanded partnership, Miller has also been added to the National FFA Sponsors' Board, positioning Fastenal to have a greater voice and impact on FFA's core strategies and long-term educational agenda.
The partnership also further expands Fastenal's presence at the National FFA Convention & Expo every October, one of the largest student leadership events in the nation. Beyond the national level, Fastenal continues to support FFA members and chapters at the local and state levels. It will continue funding grants that help spur agricultural education, leadership development, and hands-on learning opportunities. Such grants let state associations and individual chapters pursue initiatives that align with FFA's mission and meet the needs of their local communities.

Fastenal is also investing in students through the Fastenal Innovators Scholarship. Through FFA’s established grant application system, students can now apply for five Fastenal-funded college scholarships designed to help aspiring leaders pursue higher education and careers across a variety of agriculture-related and STEM fields. Additionally, Fastenal supports the 'Give the Gift of Blue' program, which provides iconic FFA Blue Jackets to members who otherwise might not have the means to purchase them. This contribution reinforces the identity and unity that the jacket represents for students across the nation.
Fastenal CEO Dan Florness pointed out the personal connection to this partnership when reflecting on his time as a member and officer of the Ellsworth, Wis., FFA chapter. He said that previously serving on the National FFA Sponsors' Board let him witness firsthand how the organization positively affects the lives of young people. His perspective underlines Fastenal's conviction that the future generations of leaders should be supported not only in agriculture but also in related fields like biology, chemistry, engineering, veterinary science, and entrepreneurship. This new partnership is a further demonstration of Fastenal's ongoing commitment to community involvement and education.
