HKUST, Uzbek Foundation Join Hands To Boost Education Ties

    The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and an Uzbek educational foundation have agreed to collaborate to strengthen academic and research ties between Hong Kong and Uzbekistan.     Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and El-Yurt Umidi Foundation formally signed a memorandum of agreement to strengthen long-term collaboration in undergraduate and executive education initiatives linking Hong Kong and Uzbekistan. The agreement represents a strategic effort to expand academic mobility and professional training opportunities between the two regions through structured institutional cooperation. It was designed to support talent development pipelines that connect Central Asia with one of Asia’s leading research universities under HKUST Uzbekistan partnership, El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, international education agreement.

    The signing ceremony took place at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, bringing together senior academic leaders, government officials, and institutional representatives to highlight the importance of cross-border education collaboration.
