    The Korea Small Business Institute is making headlines in the recruitment world after announcing it will re-announce its 2026 3rd Open Recruitment, following a disruption caused by a sudden system malfunction on April 21. The decision, revealed on April 28, is aimed at strengthening recruitment fairness and ensuring that every applicant gets an equal opportunity in the hiring process.

    The institute confirmed that the recent glitch, triggered by external factors, temporarily affected application submissions and raised concerns among job seekers. In response, officials moved quickly to stabilize the platform and are now working closely with relevant authorities to fully restore system reliability.

    To minimize any disadvantage, the Korea Small Business Institute is currently offering personalized guidance to applicants who already submitted their materials.     Looking ahead, the institute is taking major preventive steps, including a full inspection of the recruitment information system’s security framework, updating its emergency response manual, and gradually expanding its backup infrastructure to prevent future disruptions.     President Jo Joohyun issued an apology to affected applicants, emphasizing that no candidate will be placed at a disadvantage. He reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to transparent recruitment, stating that all necessary measures will be taken to maintain fairness and restore confidence in the system moving forward.
