The London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) Singapore Campus has announced the official launch of its School of Health Sciences in 2026, marking a major expansion into one of the world’s fastest-growing sectors. Developed in collaboration with the University of Roehampton, London, the new school will offer internationally recognised UK qualifications tailored to meet the rising demand for skilled professionals in healthcare and biomedical fields.
The launch introduces two key undergraduate programmes:
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) Biomedical and Health Sciences
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) Biomedical and Health Sciences (Top-Up)
These degrees are supported by a comprehensive academic pathway that includes Diploma and Higher Diploma programmes in Biomedical Science as well as Healthcare and Social Care Management. This structure provides students with multiple entry points and smooth progression toward a UK honours degree.
The timing of this launch aligns perfectly with Singapore’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading biomedical and healthcare hub in Asia. The city-state continues to attract significant investment in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical research, creating strong demand for qualified graduates.
Dr Preethi Kesavan, Director of Studies at LSBF Singapore Campus, said, “The establishment of the School of Health Sciences reflects LSBF’s commitment to preparing graduates for one of the world’s fastest-growing and most impactful industries. Our programmes are designed to equip students with the scientific knowledge, practical competencies, and industry relevance needed to contribute meaningfully to healthcare, biomedical innovation, and life sciences across Singapore and the wider region".

Sunil Gideon, Senior Vice President of Commercial at LSBF Global, added: “Through our partnership with the University of Roehampton, we are bringing globally recognised healthcare education to Singapore with programmes that are future-focused, industry-driven, and accessible to learners across Asia".
Graduates of the new programmes will be well-positioned for diverse career opportunities in healthcare services, biomedical research, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical diagnostics, public health, and healthcare administration. The qualifications also provide a solid foundation for postgraduate studies and continuous professional development.
Applications for the 2026 intake are expected to open soon.
This strategic move reinforces LSBF Singapore’s commitment to delivering high-quality, industry-relevant education that meets the evolving needs of the healthcare sector in Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
