Neolix, a leading Beijing-based provider of Level 4 (L4) autonomous logistics solutions, has entered a strategic partnership with the Engineering Discipline of the Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) under the Vocational Training Council (VTC) to accelerate the city’s autonomous vehicle ambitions and cultivate the next generation of engineering talent.
The agreement, announced on 27 July 2026, marks a significant step toward Hong Kong’s first public trials of autonomous RoboVans and strengthens the city’s push to become a world-class smart city. Under the partnership, IVE Engineering and Neolix Hong Kong will conduct pilot trials of autonomous vehicles on public roads and within VTC campuses. The two parties will also jointly apply for the necessary autonomous vehicle testing permits from relevant authorities to support these trials.
