NYU Abu Dhabi has opened applications for its Summer Research Program 2026, inviting undergraduate students to gain practical research experience in a global academic setting. The program is open to students from NYU New York, NYU Shanghai, and universities across the UAE.
The eight-week, in-person program will run during summer 2026 at the NYU Abu Dhabi campus. Selected students will work on faculty-led research projects, allowing them to build strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills that are valuable for future careers in academia, industry, and innovation-driven roles.
Participants will collaborate with peers from different institutions and backgrounds, creating an environment that encourages knowledge exchange and professional growth. The program also helps students explore research-based career paths while strengthening their academic profiles.
Farhana Goha, Director of Visiting Students Program and Student Research at NYU Abu Dhabi, said such initiatives play a key role in developing strong research communities by enabling students to actively contribute to ongoing academic work while learning from diverse perspectives.

Applications close on February 27, 2026, at 5:00 pm GST. All positions will be conducted on campus, offering students full access to NYU Abu Dhabi’s advanced research facilities.
