Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai has announced the launch of a new Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Public Relations, aimed at preparing students for leadership roles in a rapidly evolving communications industry. Applications are now open for admission in Fall 2026.
Accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education, the program combines strategic communication with data-driven decision-making. It is designed to equip students with both creative and technical skills needed to plan and deliver effective campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.
The degree reflects how advertising and public relations have shifted toward research, analytics, and technology, alongside storytelling and creativity. As digital media, smart technologies, and artificial intelligence reshape how brands engage audiences, students will learn to analyze human behavior through data and design targeted, impactful messaging.
Yousef Al Assaf, President of RIT Dubai, said the program aligns with the UAE’s vision for a knowledge-based and digitally driven economy. He noted that graduates will be trained to combine innovation, critical thinking, and accountability to make evidence-based decisions in modern media environments.

A key highlight of the program is a full-year experiential learning course, where students will work in a student-led advertising and PR agency. With industry mentors, they will deliver real-world campaigns spanning advertising, public relations, social media, and digital design.
Graduates will be prepared for careers such as copywriter, social media manager, PR executive, brand strategist, media planner, and digital media specialist across diverse industries. Students will study in the UAE while earning an American degree from RIT’s New York campus, with access to internships and global learning opportunities.
