Sejong University has been chosen for the third phase of the Korean government’s CAMPUS Asia-AIMS Program, marking a major step in expanding higher education partnerships across Southeast Asia.
The initiative, led by the Ministry of Education, is designed to strengthen academic ties between South Korea and member states of Association of Southeast Asian Nations. It promotes student mobility, joint academic programs, and shared curricula to prepare students for global careers.
Under the new selection, Sejong University will deepen collaboration with leading ASEAN institutions and work toward building a long-term framework for international education. The focus goes beyond short-term exchanges to include joint degrees, collaborative research, and industry-relevant learning.
The university plans to run an integrated curriculum through its Sejong Global STAR Program. This combines subject expertise with language and cultural training, artificial intelligence and digital skills, and practical, real-world applications. The goal is to equip students with competencies that match evolving job market needs.

Sejong University will also co-develop programs with partner institutions in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines. These efforts will link regular semester exchanges with short-term initiatives such as the Sejong International Summer Program.
University officials said the project will help build a strong international education platform, nurture globally competitive talent, and support workforce needs in future-oriented industries across Asia.
