TMG Partners with EEP to Build New Private University in Egypt

    • A new private university is planned in Noor, East Cairo, as part of an integrated urban development project.
    • The initiative focuses on strengthening higher education while building skills aligned with future job opportunities.
    • The university, along with two schools, aims to support long-term talent development and career pathways for students.

Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMG) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Egypt Education Platform (EEP) to establish a new private university in Egypt. The university will be developed within Noor, one of TMG’s large integrated urban projects located in Capital Gardens, East Cairo.

The partnership aims to strengthen access to quality higher education while supporting skills development and job readiness for future generations. Noor spans 21 million square meters and is being developed as a smart and sustainable city, making it a suitable location for a modern education hub.

Under the agreement, TMG will contribute land covering around 216,000 square meters for the university. The group will also hold a stake in the project company and receive a revenue share over the project’s lifetime. The total investment for the university is estimated at EGP 8 billion.

The first phase of the university is expected to begin operations in 2029. In addition to the university, EEP will also operate two schools within Noor. TMG will provide the land and fund the development of the school facilities, while EEP will manage academic operations.

The collaboration aims to create a strong education ecosystem that supports learning pathways from school to university, helping students build skills aligned with future job market needs.

Deliveries in Noor are expected to begin in 2026, in line with the project’s development timeline.
