WSMATH Limited has announced remarkable growth in its premium online mathematics instruction, reflecting the success of Founder Winson Siu’s transition from traditional offline tutoring to a fully digital, high-end teaching model. Now a multi-million HKD education company with consistent year-on-year growth, WSMATH is meeting the increasing demand for specialized support in International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), GCE A-Level, International A-Level (IAL), and IGCSE mathematics.

Winson Siu began teaching mathematics in 2017 through offline tutoring before shifting entirely online in 2021. His approach combines digital tools with real-time, interactive problem-solving, creating a dynamic learning environment that allows students to engage directly with complex concepts. Over the past eight years, Winson has accumulated more than 18,000 hours of teaching across 11,000 one-on-one lessons, guiding over 250 students from top international and local schools.

WSMATH’s results-driven model has produced notable success stories, demonstrating the platform’s ability to accelerate learning for students with varying skill levels. One IBDP Standard Level student improved from Level 3 to Level 7 in just one and a half months, while two IBDP Higher Level students advanced from Level 3 to Level 6 in approximately three months. Winson also coached a self-studying IAL candidate with a limited math foundation to achieve an A in both IAL Mathematics and IAL Further Mathematics. This student, WSMATH’s first IAL learner, went on to gain admission to the University of Cambridge, reflecting the effectiveness of Winson’s structured methodology and clear teaching style rather than reliance on formal teaching credentials.

Winson’s own experience in Hong Kong’s exam-oriented education system informs his teaching philosophy. Having earned an A in HKALE Pure Mathematics, a distinction awarded to only the top 4.8 percent of candidates, he understands the precision and disciplined thinking required for top performance. “Growing up in a high-stakes assessment culture trained me to analyze problems systematically and understand exactly what separates a top-band performance from an average one”, he explained. By merging rigorous analytical techniques with international curricula, Winson equips students with disciplined, exam-ready thinking often unavailable in mainstream classrooms.

Unlike traditional classrooms that rely heavily on passive learning through slides or video content, Winson’s approach is fully interactive. His lessons feature live handwritten explanations, continuous questioning, and immediate feedback. WSMATH’s system also draws from an analysis of over one hundred past papers per syllabus, enabling students to master each topic efficiently. Student testimonials highlight the impact of this method. One remarked that Winson “transforms complex concepts into clear, structured steps”, while another shared that the “by-topic past paper system completely changed the way I learned mathematics”, allowing them to rise from struggling at the bottom of the class to achieving top marks.

Winson’s dedication extends beyond typical teaching hours. In 2018, he conducted a nine-hour intensive session from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. to support an IBDP student, and in 2025, he delivered a 19.5-hour marathon teaching day from 6 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., illustrating his unwavering commitment to student success. Through WSMATH, Winson Siu continues to redefine online mathematics education, combining rigorous methodology, interactive digital instruction, and personalized support to help students excel on the global stage.
