More than 8,000 entrepreneurs and business leaders from 30 countries gathered in Penang for V-Convention 2026, a major international platform focused on leadership development, responsible entrepreneurship education, and personal transformation. Held under the powerful theme 'Reform. Perform. Transform.', the event reinforced the critical role of continuous learning and professional development in today’s dynamic business world.
Organised by QNET, a global direct selling company, the convention served as a premier hub for knowledge sharing, skill-building, and ethical business practices. Supported by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and Tourism Malaysia under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), the event also contributed to Malaysia’s Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign by highlighting the country’s capabilities as a world-class destination for international business events.
For nearly three decades, V-Convention has established itself as a leading annual gathering for entrepreneurs seeking practical education and inspiration. This year’s edition placed strong emphasis on entrepreneurship education, compliance training, leadership development, and personal growth areas that are increasingly vital for sustainable business success in a regulated global marketplace.
Mattias Mildenborn, CEO of QNET, delivered insightful keynote messages throughout the convention. “Transformation is not a destination; it is a continuous commitment,” he said. “It requires the courage to challenge legacy thinking, the discipline to strengthen how we operate, and the integrity to earn trust every day”.
Mildenborn highlighted QNET’s ongoing efforts to build a more transparent and accountable organisation. “As we continue our transformation, we are building a stronger, more transparent and more accountable QNET one that places compliance, ethical business practices and customer trust at the heart of everything we do”, he added.
The convention offered a comprehensive educational programme designed to equip participants with real-world skills. Attendees engaged in extensive leadership development sessions, business-building workshops, product education modules, compliance training, personal development programmes, and high-quality networking opportunities. These sessions aimed to prepare entrepreneurs to build sustainable and professional businesses amid evolving market conditions and regulatory requirements.
“Throughout the convention, our objective is to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills and foundation needed to build sustainable businesses in an increasingly dynamic and regulated world,” Mildenborn explained.
A standout feature of V-Convention 2026 was its strong focus on compliance education and responsible entrepreneurship. In an era where ethical business conduct is under greater scrutiny, the convention provided practical training to help participants navigate complex regulatory landscapes while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Participants from Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and other regions praised the event for its practical approach to entrepreneurship education. Many noted that the combination of inspirational keynotes, hands-on workshops, and peer learning created a powerful environment for both personal and professional transformation
