Graduating from senior high school is a pivotal moment for Filipino students as they prepare to step into university, careers, or entrepreneurship. To support this transition, Canva and the Department of Education (DepEd Philippines) have launched the Canva Graduate Access Program, which provides eligible Grade 12 graduates with one year of continued access to Canva Pro. This initiative allows students to keep using the AI-powered creative tools they relied on in school, from designing presentations to building professional portfolios, as they take the next step in their academic or professional journey.
Megan Townes, Regional Lead for Canva Education in Asia-Pacific and Japan, emphasized the importance of extending learning beyond the classroom. “Graduating from senior high school is an exciting moment when students begin carrying the creative and digital skills they’ve developed into higher education, careers, and entrepreneurship. At Canva, our goal is to give learners the tools and confidence to continue creating, communicating, and pursuing opportunities in the path they choose”.

Eligible students with an active Canva Education account will receive an official email from DepEd containing a secure activation link. Once verified, graduates will receive a confirmation code to activate their one-year Canva Pro subscription. The offer must be claimed between April 1, 2026, and July 1, 2026. With approximately 1.2 million students graduating from senior high school this year, programs like this expand access to essential digital tools and ensure students are prepared for future opportunities.
Education Secretary Sonny Angara noted that partnerships like this provide learners not only with knowledge but also the confidence and capabilities to shape their own paths. The collaboration also includes initiatives such as Project AGAP, which introduces students, teachers, and parents to responsible AI use in education, and Project TAWID, which connects learners with industry partners, offering AI-focused training, micro-credentials, and work immersion experiences.
By providing continued access to Canva Pro, the Canva Graduate Access Program supports Filipino learners as they move beyond the classroom, empowering them to carry their creative and digital skills into higher education, careers, and entrepreneurship.
