Citi has announced a strategic partnership with Crimson Education and Onwards Education Consultancy to offer international education planning services to its Citigold Private Client segment. The initiative, which began on March 4, 2026, will continue through December 31, 2027, and forms part of Citi’s broader effort to expand its wealth management offerings beyond traditional financial services.
The move reflects a growing demand among high-net-worth families for more holistic wealth management solutions, including guidance on global education pathways for their children. Citi stated that the partnerships are the first in a series of enhanced value propositions planned for 2026, aimed at integrating lifestyle and education services into its core advisory model.
Through the collaboration, clients will gain access to specialized consultants providing college admissions consulting and international university admissions guidance. These services include support in identifying suitable schools and programs, as well as navigating the increasingly competitive application processes at top-tier universities across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia.

Gourab Kundu, Head of Digital Growth and Wealth Continuum for Asia South at Citi Wealth, said the initiative aligns with the bank’s commitment to supporting clients beyond financial investments. He noted that education planning services represent a key component of long-term family planning, enabling clients to make informed decisions about their children’s academic futures.
The partnerships underscore Citi’s focus on delivering integrated solutions that combine wealth advisory services with broader life planning needs.
