Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) has signed a strategic MoU with the Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) to strengthen India’s financial talent pipeline. The partnership, under the GIFT International FinTech Institute, focuses on capacity building, academic engagement, and knowledge exchange in international finance, governance, and financial technology.
The collaboration aims to align advanced financial education with the needs of India’s only International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). AJNIFM, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Finance, brings extensive experience in postgraduate finance, management, and policy-oriented training, while GIFT City offers a dynamic financial ecosystem with global market exposure.
As part of the initiative, AJNIFM’s second-year MBA students participated in a five-day Industry Immersion Programme at GIFT City. The programme provides hands-on experience in regulatory frameworks, crossborder finance, digital innovations, capital markets, and institutional strategies, equipping students with skills for careers in global finance and FinTech.
