Vietnam’s airlines are rapidly hiring as they gear up for a major travel surge during the 2026 Tet holiday. Carriers like Vietjet, Bamboo Airways, and new player Sun PhuQuoc Airways are offering fresh job opportunities, especially for young people with good communication and language skills.
Vietjet is leading the way with international hiring events. It held its first global flight attendant recruitment fair in Osaka, Japan, attracting over 100 applicants from countries like Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines. This marks the start of Vietjet’s goal to build a diverse, multinational cabin crew team. The airline will host more hiring events overseas in the coming months.
Domestically, Vietjet is also recruiting in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. These roles provide young Vietnamese the chance to work in a global, high-skill environment, with opportunities to travel and use foreign languages on the job.
Meanwhile, Bamboo Airways is hiring up to 500 new flight attendants. Candidates must be under 25 years old, with at least a high school diploma and a TOEIC score of 500 or above. Speaking Japanese or Korean is a plus. This recruitment drive is part of Bamboo’s long-term plan to grow its fleet and improve service quality.
