Agilisium, Sri Ramachandra Institute Announce Strategic Partnership

    • Agilisium & SRIHER sign MoU to launch India’s first Agentic AI-Powered Digital Health & Research Centre
    • Centre to focus on AI-driven precision medicine, clinical research, and predictive diagnostics using GenAI & autonomous AI
    • Collaboration includes Clean Health Data Initiative, AI-enabled smart tools, and India’s first academic certificate in Generative AI in Healthcare

In a path-breaking initiative that places India on the global frontier of life sciences and healthcare innovation, Agilisium, India's premier autonomous Agentic AI business partner to the life sciences sector, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the renowned Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) for establishing the nation's first Agentic AI-Powered Digital Health & Research Centre.

Committed to the promotion of scientific inquiry, healthcare provision, and academic distinction through AI and GenAI, the Centre will be a hallmark of collaborative activity to spur advances in precision medicine, digital diagnosis, and data-intensive clinical research. With the integration of Agilisium's AI-based solutions expertise and SRIHER's academic and clinical leadership, the Centre will create next-generation diagnostic technologies, smart decision-support systems, and interoperable health data platforms, making India a world leader in future-proof digital healthcare.

The collaboration is looking to leverage high-value synergies between clinical know-how and technology innovation to overcome some of the most pressing issues in contemporary healthcare. Agilisium will bring its profound expertise in advanced analytics, data science, biostatistics, GenAI, and autonomous Agentic AI, while SRIHER will offer access to rich clinical data sets, domain experts, and state-of-the-art medical facilities and expertise. A primary focus of the alliance will be on co-developing and publishing high-impact scientific studies covering AI-driven clinical trials, predictive diagnostics, and personalized medicine; initiatives that will substantially improve the level of healthcare and life sciences R&D in India.

The AI-based interventions pioneered by this collaboration will nurture innovative solutions in clinical decision-making, digital diagnostics, and hospital efficiency. Opportunities for the development of smart decision-support tools, digital twins to virtually model personalized treatments, and predictive hospital infrastructure driven by AI and IoTwill emerge. Predictive analytics to aid disease surveillance and early intervention, allowing hospitals and policymakers to respond ahead of new health threats will be a separate value addition.

In an effort to revolutionize India's digital health ecosystem, the two organizations will collaborate on a mass-scale Clean Health Data Initiative with a focus on enhancing the quality, standardization, and interoperability of structured and unstructured medical information. Agilisium will leverage top-notch AI tools to cleanse, standardize, and govern the data, making datasets research ready and compliant with global healthcare regulations. SRIHER will facilitate this through providing blinded access to clinical records to pilot AI tools within real-world environments.

This collaboration will not only focus on technology and research but will contribute to the increasing need for smart, scalable patient care solutions. AI-driven chatbots and GenAI-facilitated virtual assistants to assist clinicians, patients, and caregivers with real-time diagnosis, documentation, and remote monitoring will be the products created, tested and proved in SRIHER's hospital setting to assess clinical impact and user experience.

The MoU further specifies the creation of an industry-first academic certification program in Generative AI in Healthcare. Designed and delivered jointly by Agilisium and SRIHER, the course will include applications in drug discovery, diagnostics, predictive modeling, and patient care. Agilisium will provide real-world technology expertise while SRIHER will insert clinical relevance and academic rigour in the course content. Together, they will create a future-ready talent pool capable of driving AI innovation in the healthcare industry.

The alliance will also seek collaborations in the form of collaborative workshops, seminars, conferences and CSR-funded research support to facilitate socially impactful healthcare innovations.

Commenting on the tie-up, Agilisium CEO Raj Babu stated, "This tie-up is a landmark moment in our vision of revolutionizing life sciences and healthcare using Agentic AI. By coming together with SRIHER, we are building the foundation for an ecosystem that is future-proof one where synthetic workforce (AI Agents) and AI-born talent converge to address the industry's most pressing challenges".

India's AI transformation will not be 100% foreign it will be co-made. With this effort, and extensive STEM partnerships, we are mobilizing India's research and data commons to ignite breakthrough innovations particularly in patient care.

This Centre reflects our determination to reimagine the way life sciences and healthcare organizations work, with AI-powered business processes that are self-driving, scalable, and designed for the next generation.

Reiterating this view, Dr. Uma Sekar, Vice Chancellor of SRIHER, stated, "This MoU perfectly fits our objectives to harmonize science, education, and technology for the empowerment of patient care. With the AI proficiency of Agilisium, we can reach new heights in digital health to enhance patient outcomes and experience. This MoU marks a mutual commitment to leverage the power of technology and human acumen to build a healthier, smarter, and more inclusive world".
