Ajman University has entered a strategic partnership with Sheikh Khalifa Hospitals, part of PureHealth, to enhance healthcare education in the UAE. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to provide medical and health sciences students with advanced clinical training at the hospitals' state-of-the-art facilities.
Through this collaboration, students will gain hands-on experience at key Sheikh Khalifa Hospitals locations, including Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital, and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. These facilities, which employ over 2,500 professionals, will give students exposure to diverse clinical settings and expertise.

The partnership was formalized in a ceremony attended by leaders from both institutions. Dr. Aref Al Shehi, CEO of The Medical Office, emphasized the importance of advancing healthcare education, while Prof. Khaled Assaleh from Ajman University highlighted the role of clinical practice in developing highly skilled healthcare professionals.
This collaboration is part of a broader effort to strengthen academic-clinical integration, contribute to healthcare research, and build a sustainable healthcare workforce for the future.
