- New two year partnership to boost clinical training
- Focus on cardiovascular, neuro, and minimally invasive care
- Goal is to strengthen skills and improve treatment across Vietnam
Medtronic Vietnam has signed a third Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hue Central Hospital, strengthening their partnership to improve medical education and clinical training in Vietnam. The new two year collaboration will focus on building healthcare professionals’ (HCPs) skills in key areas like cardiovascular care, neuroscience, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
This renewed effort follows two successful MoUs that delivered hands on training, workshops, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs led by both local and international experts. Past programs included advanced cardiovascular procedures, pediatric spine surgeries, and lung surgery techniques, offering practical exposure to modern medical innovations.
The latest partnership expands into new specialties such as upper gastrointestinal care and advanced spinal surgery. It also aims to train HCPs in high impact treatments like renal denervation, drug coated balloon angioplasty, and TAVI, modern techniques addressing rising cases of hypertension and heart disease in Vietnam.
