Seven academic programs from Cavite State University (CvSU) have earned fresh accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), boosting the university’s reputation and its graduates’ job readiness.
The highlight is the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, which secured Level 4 Reaccredited status, the highest recognition given by AACCUP.
Also receiving Level 3 Reaccredited status are the BS Accountancy program from the College of Economics, Management and Development Studies, and the BS Fisheries and Aquatic Science at CvSU Naic Campus. CvSU Silang Campus also achieved the same level for its BS Education and BS Business Administration programs.
Meanwhile, the BS in Education at CvSU General Trias Campus earned Level 1 Accredited status. The Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship from the College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources passed Phase 1 of its third survey visit. AACCUP praised CvSU’s strong teamwork and commitment to academic excellence.

Dr. Ma. Agnes Perido Nuestro, CvSU President, in her investiture speech, shared her 'IDEAL' vision, focusing on inclusive education, competitive research, empowered communities, transparent governance, and sustainable resources. Her goal is to make CvSU a leading university in both the Philippines and the global education arena.
With higher accreditation, CvSU graduates are expected to have stronger job prospects and sharper skills, aligning with global standards in education and training.
