CapitaLand Hope Foundation Supports Youth Education Across Asia

    • CapitaLand Hope Foundation selects 12 grantees under a $3.4 million initiative to support vulnerable youth.
    • Projects focus on education, skills training, and mental and physical well-being in four countries.
    • The programme aims to create lasting impact through sustainable, scalable community solutions.

CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand Group, has launched a major youth focused initiative by selecting 12 organisations across China, India, Singapore, and Vietnam. Under its inaugural Community Resilience Initiative, CHF will provide $3.4 million in funding to support projects aimed at improving education and overall well-being for disadvantaged children and youth.

The initiative, done in partnership with AVPN, attracted over 650 applications. The selected grantees work in areas ranging from mental health support and assistive technologies to leadership development and educational access for underserved groups.

In India, the chosen organisations focus on enabling education for children with disabilities, training adolescent girls, and improving teaching quality. Singapore’s grantees work on youth entrepreneurship and inclusive vocational pathways. In Vietnam, efforts center around anti-trafficking education and caregiver support. Meanwhile, Chinese organisations target left behind children in rural areas, offering mental health support and arts engagement.

The projects were chosen based on their potential for scalability, sustainability, and measurable community impact. CHF emphasized that the funding will be tailored to each grantee’s needs and deliverables, considering the different implementation scales across regions.

Beyond financial aid, CHF plans to support grantees through its broader ecosystem, helping them strengthen their programmes and scale their impact. The goal is to build a resilient support system for youth that extends beyond immediate aid and contributes to long term change.

With this initiative, CHF continues its commitment to social impact, using strategic philanthropy to create stronger education and support systems across Asia’s diverse communities.
