Mahindra University and Japan’s Kagawa University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen global academic and research collaboration. This partnership aims to facilitate student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and cross-border learning opportunities.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor of Mahindra University, and Dr. Kenji Wada, Vice President of Kagawa University, along with Prof. Natsuo Ueda, President of Kagawa University. This marks a significant step towards fostering international ties and expanding educational horizons for both institutions.
Dr. Medury highlighted Japan’s leadership in technology driven innovation and said the partnership will help Mahindra University students and faculty engage with Japan’s innovation ecosystem. He added that the collaboration will enable co-creation of knowledge aimed at addressing societal challenges and will provide students with exposure to new perspectives through interdisciplinary learning and live industry projects.
Dr. Wada expressed optimism about the partnership, calling it the first step towards a long term relationship aimed at becoming global leaders in academia. Both universities are committed to growing together by sharing resources, expertise, and research to provide students with a competitive edge in today’s globalized world.
