MSU Partners with Woosuk University to Boost Global Skills & Career

    Medhavi Skills University (MSU) has partnered with Woosuk University in South Korea to expand global education and career opportunities for students. The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen academic collaboration and improve access to international learning.

    The agreement was signed by Kuldip Sarma, Pro-Vice Chancellor of MSU, and Beck Sung Ki from Woosuk University. The partnership aims to build stronger education ties between India and South Korea while preparing students for global careers.

    As part of the collaboration, MSU will set up a Korean Language Centre to help students develop language skills and improve job readiness. Both universities will also offer student exchange programs, giving learners access to international study and research opportunities. Faculty exchange and joint academic initiatives will further strengthen teaching and learning outcomes.

    The institutions also plan to launch short-term global programs, organize seminars, and work together on research projects. They will share academic resources and explore more areas of collaboration in the future.

    Officials said the partnership will help students gain practical skills and global exposure, making them more competitive in the job market. South Korea’s strong presence in industries such as semiconductors, clean technology, healthcare, and digital infrastructure offers valuable learning and career pathways.

    The university added that the initiative supports the goals of the National Education Policy 2020, which promotes global collaboration and skill-based education. MSU, a skills-focused university established by the Government of Sikkim, continues to expand its international network to align education with industry needs and future job demands.
