Samsung Gulf Electronics has partnered with Dubai International Academy (DIA), Emirates Hills, to launch the UAE’s first Samsung Certified School. The collaboration is part of Samsung’s global education push to integrate advanced technology into classrooms and foster AI driven learning.
Under this initiative, DIA will embed Samsung’s AI powered tools like Math Solver, Note Assist, Sketch to Image, and more into daily lessons. Over 200 students will use Galaxy Tabs as their main learning devices, while teachers undergo training to become Samsung Certified Educators. A dedicated Samsung AI Lab will also be set up at the school, supporting student led innovation projects in coding, AR/VR, AI, and creative design.
The partnership supports the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031 by promoting responsible AI use and preparing students with future ready skills. It emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and problem solving in tech driven environments.
Samsung’s education initiative brings together infrastructure, curriculum, and teacher training, helping schools meet global digital standards. The program aims to create a network of schools leading in digital education and innovation.

DooHee Lee, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, said the partnership reflects Samsung’s commitment to building a digital-first generation. Poonam Bhojani, CEO of Innoventures Education, noted this milestone as a strong step toward purposeful tech integration in learning.
With this initiative, Samsung and DIA are shaping the classroom of the future, one where technology, learning, and innovation go hand in hand.
