    • The course is aimed at civil servants, teachers, and NGO members in Thailand.

Thai civil society organizations have launched an online course that explores Taiwan's democratic journey and political transformation. The course, titled 'Democratization Learning Space: Unpacking Taiwan's Movement',has drawn over 80 participants, including government officials, educators, students, and members of civic groups.

Organized by the Daybreaker Network, in collaboration with the legal advocacy group iLaw and the Asia Citizen Future Association (ACFA), the course covers three key areas: Taiwan's democratic history, human rights progress, and judicial reform. The initiative seeks to foster dialogue between Thai and Taiwanese civic groups, with a special focus on Thailand's ongoing democratic challenges.

ACFA's Executive Director, Lin Wen-liang, highlighted that Thailand's democratic development has been unstable, with several constitutions being adopted and overturned since 1932. The course aims to show how Taiwan managed to end 38 years of martial law and implement political reforms through constitutional amendments and referendums.
