In a major step toward making education more accessible and future ready, Chulalongkorn University and KASIKORNBANK (KBank) have announced a strategic partnership to promote lifelong digital learning in Thailand. The collaboration brings together two powerful platforms, Chula Lifelong Learning (Chula X) and SKILLKAMP, to offer more than 1,000 online and on-site courses, covering a wide range of academic and digital skills.
The initiative aims to empower individuals of all age groups to keep pace with rapid technological changes, helping them reskill and upskill for the evolving job market. With flexible learning options and credit transfer opportunities for formal degree programs, the platform is designed to cater to both students and working professionals.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thiti Bovornratanaraks, Dean of the Graduate School at Chulalongkorn University, the platform is a core part of the university’s vision to foster a strong lifelong learning ecosystem. Chula X integrates courses across disciplines, including artificial intelligence, management, marketing, healthcare, digital literacy, and the arts to help learners build critical competencies.
Dr. Karin Boonlertvanich, Executive Vice President of KBank, emphasized the urgent need for digital skills in Thailand. The labor market is expected to require more than 20,000 digital professionals in the next few years. SKILLKAMP is KBank’s effort to bridge this gap, offering skill assessments, curated courses, and job placement support aligned with market demands.
