Ebix Smartclass, India’s leading e-learning solution provider, has announced the launch of its pioneering new programme Ebix AI School, a comprehensive Artificial Intelligence and Coding initiative crafted for school students across Grades 1 to 12. The programme is a major leap towards integrating next-gen digital skills into the core of school education and aims to prepare students for the rapidly evolving technology-driven world.
Building on Ebix Smartclass’s existing reach across 65,000 classrooms in over 10,000 schools, the new programme aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), which emphasizes the importance of coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy from early schooling years. Through Ebix AI School, students can now access a single, integrated platform that covers pre-coding, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT), empowering them with essential 21st-century skills.

The launch comes at a time when India is emerging as the fastest-growing AI in Education market in the Asia-Pacific region. India accounted for nearly 5% of the global AI in Education market in 2022, generating revenues of INR 1,200 crore (USD 140.7 million). With an estimated CAGR of 40%, the market is expected to reach INR 17,500 crore (USD 2.06 billion) by 2030. In parallel, India’s K–12 EdTech market driven by more than 25 crore enrolled school students is valued at INR 25,000 crore (USD 2.9 billion).
With its scalable model, strong school network, and minimal infrastructure requirements, Ebix Smartclass is poised to capture a significant share of this market. The Union Budget 2025 has also boosted the momentum by allocating INR 500 crore (USD 60 million) for establishing Centres of Excellence for AI in Education, further validating the programme’s relevance and timing.
