In a significant move aimed at reshaping professional learning in the region, EY Academy has launched an AI-enabled Future-Ready Project Delivery Accelerator, a specialized education and training program designed to strengthen project execution capabilities across organizations in the GCC region, particularly as demand grows for managing large-scale transformation initiatives.
The new applied learning program focuses on equipping project leaders with the practical skills needed to deliver complex, high-stakes programs more effectively. Unlike traditional classroom-based training, the accelerator blends structured learning with real-world application, coaching, and measurable performance outcomes. The program is already being implemented with clients in Saudi Arabia, reflecting strong early demand for advanced project management training aligned with national transformation priorities.
According to Fazeela Gopalani, EY MENA academy leader, organizations across the region are now operating at unprecedented levels of scale and complexity, requiring leaders who go beyond conventional delivery methods. She emphasized that future-ready professionals must develop strategic thinking, digital fluency, and the ability to responsibly integrate artificial intelligence (AI in education and project delivery) while navigating complex stakeholder environments.

The program arrives at a time when governments and enterprises across the GCC are driving ambitious transformation agendas, including initiatives aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. These large-scale programs often involve tight timelines, multiple stakeholders, vendor-heavy ecosystems, and increasing expectations for transparency and execution accuracy. EY notes that this has created a widening gap between strategic ambition and actual delivery capability, which the accelerator aims to address.
A core feature of the AI-powered learning program is its focus on real organizational projects rather than theoretical case studies. Participants engage in AI-enabled simulations, role-play exercises, and digital practice labs to enhance decision-making, communication, and risk management skills. They are also trained to use AI tools responsibly in areas such as planning, reporting, and governance, ensuring human oversight remains central.
The initiative is also positioned as a contributor to broader workforce development in the GCC, supporting talent localisation, productivity improvement, and stronger governance frameworks. Participants work directly on live projects, ensuring immediate business impact and measurable improvements in execution quality.
By combining digital transformation training, AI integration, and applied project learning, EY Academy is positioning itself as a key enabler of next-generation leadership development across the region’s rapidly evolving economic landscape.
