Huawei and 51Talk, a leading global online English education platform, are teaming up to shape the future of digital learning in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Through a series of back to school events held across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Fujairah, the initiative has already reached over 900 students, introducing them to the benefits of smart learning tools.
These events are being held in partnership with Dubai Municipality, Sharjah Government, and RTA, showcasing how public and private sectors are working together to enhance education. More sessions are planned throughout September to expand the program’s impact.
The UAE is already a regional leader in education innovation, having implemented a mandatory AI curriculum for students from kindergarten through Grade 12. This move, along with the increasing use of smart devices and interactive apps, reflects the country’s strong commitment to future ready education.
At each event, students get hands on experience with the latest Huawei tablets, including tools like the HUAWEI Notes Resource Centre, WPS Office suite, and GoPaint, helping students with everything from class projects to creative expression. These tools also encourage collaboration, productivity, and digital literacy, essential skills in today’s classrooms.
The recently launched HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 was highlighted for its PaperMatte Display, designed to reduce eye strain and mimic the feel of real paper ideal for reading, note taking, and drawing. Huawei designed the tablet with students in mind, combining performance, creativity, and comfort in one portable device.
