- Indonesia’s Ministry of Education unveiled ‘Rumah Pendidikan’ (House of Education) a new all-in-one education super-app at EduTech Asia 2025 in Singapore.
- The app integrates teachers, students, and partners on a single platform, replacing around 300 fragmented education applications nationwide.
- Through key sections like GTK Room, Students Room, and Mitra Room, it aims to foster collaboration, inclusivity, and quality learning across Indonesia’s 17,000 islands.
The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education introduced Rumah Pendidikan (House of Education), Indonesia's new education super-app, for the first time at the EduTech Asia 2025 Forum held at Sands Expo, Marina Bay, Singapore.
“Through three of its eight main rooms, the application presents inclusive digital learning innovations. The three spaces are the GTK Room, the Students Room and the Mitra Room (Partners)”, the head of Data Center and Information Technology at the ministry, Yudhistira Nugraha said in a statement.
He explained that Rumah Pendidikan serves as an integrated platform, connecting the entire Indonesian education ecosystem of teachers, students, and partners in one application designed to drive collaboration, equity, and improved learning quality. The development of the platform was to consolidate and replace close to 300 different education applications that were in use by four million teachers and 40 million students on Indonesia's 17,000 islands.
The GTK Room is designed to provide an opportunity for teachers to learn, develop, and share inspiration with fellow educators. The Students' Room is an open, free-of-charge interactive digital learning area aimed at assisting curriculum-based, meaningful, and enjoyable learning.

Meanwhile, the space called the Mitra Room serves as a collaborative gateway for the public, private, and community sectors to innovate and help develop Indonesia’s education system further, Nugraha added. Rumah Pendidikan is not just an application; it is a shared movement to ensure equal access and quality education across Indonesia. With cross-sectoral collaboration, the Ministry aspires to show how technology can unleash limitless learning.
According to Nugraha, introducing Rumah Pendidikan at the forum was an important step for Indonesia into the international arena to show its transformation in digital education. The initiative also strengthens Indonesia’s position as a pioneer in technology-driven educational innovation in Asia, he added.
The convergence of AI and pedagogy in the classroom transformation came into sharp focus at the EduTech Asia 2025 Forum.
