Honda Korea Launches Winter Motorcycle Self-Maintenance Training

    • Honda Korea launches a winter-only self-maintenance program to help riders build practical motorcycle care skills during the off-season.
    • The course blends theory with hands-on training, covering safety basics, key components, and routine maintenance tasks used in everyday riding.
    • Small class sizes enable personalized instruction, giving participants close guidance and real-world experience on popular Honda motorcycle models.

Honda Korea has launched a winter-only self-maintenance training program for motorcycle enthusiasts, called 'Basic Maintenance', at the Honda Education Center. The initiative aims to help riders enhance routine maintenance skills during the off-season.

The course focuses on practical, everyday care rather than professional-level servicing. Participants learn key safety rules, the function of essential components, and hands-on tasks such as battery, engine oil, and spark plug replacement, as well as adjusting chain tension, clutch, and throttle free play. The training uses three popular models: Honda Super Cub, CB125R, and CB300R.

Since the first session on January 10, demand has been strong, prompting Honda Korea to expand sessions to four per month in January and five per month in February. Each session is limited to just four participants, allowing for personalized, hands-on guidance. The program fee is 150,000 won.

Honda Korea’s winter training initiative reflects a growing focus on skill-building and practical education for riders, promoting safety, confidence, and technical knowledge. By combining theory and practice, the program equips riders with the tools and confidence to perform essential motorcycle maintenance independently, enhancing both safety and longevity of their vehicles.

This training is ideal for riders looking to gain practical skills during the off-season while understanding the fundamentals of motorcycle care.
