    • The forum will focus on aligning the UAE’s education system with current and future job market needs.
    • Policymakers, educators, and industry leaders will discuss bridging skills gaps and preparing students for emerging careers.
    • Around 1,000 participants, including teachers, university officials, government representatives, and private sector experts, are expected to attend in Abu Dhabi.

The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research will host the UAE Education Forum 2026 on April 7 in Abu Dhabi. The event will bring together policymakers, educators, and industry leaders to strengthen the link between education, skills, and employment.

Organizers expect around 1,000 participants, including government officials, university heads, school leaders, teachers, and private sector partners. The forum aims to bridge the gap between policy planning and classroom practice, ensuring that education reforms translate into real outcomes for students.

The discussions will center on preparing Emirati talent for the future economy and addressing skills gaps in line with the National Jobs Roadmap 2040. Sessions will explore how schools and universities can better equip students with practical skills that match labor market demands. Teacher empowerment, evolving workforce needs, and the role of language and identity in education will also feature prominently.

The forum follows an 'Education Quintet' model, placing students at the center while highlighting collaboration between teachers, institutions, policymakers, families, and the wider community. Officials say this approach will move beyond theory and focus on practical, solution-driven dialogue.

Special tracks such as the Education Policy Clinic and Future of Education Lab will generate actionable recommendations to strengthen the UAE’s education ecosystem and support long-term workforce development goals.
