Sharing the vision of improving the state of education in the nation, and reaching as many students as there are, Globe and Khan Academy Philippines have partnered to bring quality education to every Filipino's doorstep. Hands joined to put emphasis on empowering the students, and the teachers through inclusive digital education, this will particularly be of great advantage to areas where access to learning resources is minimal.
The partnership offers timely assistance to the ongoing reforms initiated by the Department of Education, specifically in school digitalization, teacher assistance, and connectivity projects.
It is centering around the digital skills program that incorporates Globe's national reach and presence with Khan Academy's reputable content worldwide. It transcends textbooks and classroom instructions and provides lessons on STEM, digital literacy, internet safety, and life skills that can be accessed online or via the GlobeOne app.
Students also get access to Department of Education-aligned courses today, and teachers are assisted by Khanmigo, an AI-teaching assistant which simplifies administrative tasks, thereby allowing teachers to have more impact on learning. Khanmigo is able to respond in various local Philippine languages upon request, for example, Tagalog, Waray, Cebuano, Hiligaynon, and Ilocano.

The partnership will feature an employee volunteer program for Globe employees to work with partner schools and communities on the use of Khan Academy's educational content.

Earlier this year, in partnership with Khan Academy and Ayala Foundation, Globe donated tablets, Blue Boards, and Globe Fiber Prepaid WiFi to five schools under Globe's G-Gantic Goals program. The recipient schools are CENTEX Manila in Tondo, Pasong Kawayan 2 West Elementary School in Cavite City, Lahug Elementary School in Cebu City, CENTEX Batangas in Bauan, and Pampanga High School in San Fernando City.
