GEMS Dubai Brings AR/VR STEM Learning to Life with zSpace

    • GEMS Education partners with zSpace to launch immersive AR/VR STEM learning in Dubai.
    • New STEM Lab at School of Research and Innovation enables hands-on, 3D learning experiences.
    • Partnership prepares students for future careers with tech driven, skill based education.

GEMS Education, the UAE’s largest private education provider, has teamed up with global AR/VR leader zSpace to transform how STEM is taught at its Flagship School of Research and Innovation (SRI) in Dubai. This first-of-its-kind partnership in the region marks a major step toward immersive, tech driven education across K–12.

With zSpace’s headset-free AR/VR technology, students at SRI can now explore complex science, engineering, and math concepts through interactive 3D simulations, like dissecting virtual organisms or designing mechanical systems. This allows for a more engaging, practical learning experience that would be difficult or expensive to create in traditional classrooms.

This move supports the UAE’s national goal of fostering innovation and digital transformation in education. Jay Varkey,Deputy CEO of GEMS,  said, the collaboration will help students build the 21st century skills needed for careers that don’t even exist yet. “We're redefining future ready learning where AI, immersive tech, and creativity come together”, he added.
