The intake has been strategically aligned with India’s academic calendar, enabling students to transition into their MD program after completing their schooling.
With decades of experience in training international students, St. George’s University (SGU) has built a strong reputation in global medical education, supported by a network of more than 25,000 graduates practicing across 50 countries. In 2026 alone, SGU students secured over 800 residency placements in the United States across 23 specialties, highlighting the institution’s consistent performance in US residency placements. The university also offers extensive clinical exposure through affiliations with over 75 hospitals and health centers in the US and UK, strengthening its appeal for students seeking clinical training abroad.

Through this collaboration, eligible students can choose to begin their studies either in Grenada or the UK, ultimately earning both a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from SGU and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) from Northumbria University.
