DOLE Anniversary Job Fair in Pasay City Opens Over 7,000 Opportunities

    • DOLE’s 92nd anniversary job fair in Pasay City on Dec. 1 offers local and overseas positions across various sectors.
    • Multiple agencies (TESDA, BIR, NBI, SSS, etc.) and 43 local companies will provide employment, training, and certification opportunities.
    • Four international employers will offer jobs for plumbers, electricians, carpenters, seamen, and machine operators.

    Job seekers have a chance to apply for more than 7,000 positions at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 92nd anniversary job fair on December 1, held at the Pasay City Astrodome. The event is organized in partnership with the Pasay City Government and coincides with the city’s 162nd Foundation Day celebration.

    The job fair aims to connect Metro Manila workers with both local and overseas career opportunities. It is supported by the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO), ensuring job seekers have easy access to resources and guidance.

    Several government agencies are participating, including the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Pag-IBIG Fund, Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Social Security System (SSS), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and the Philippine National Police (PNP). These agencies will offer services like certifications, training assistance, and other programs alongside employment opportunities.

    Forty-three local companies from sectors such as business process outsourcing (BPO), retail, transport and logistics, manufacturing, and hospitality will offer jobs including cashiers, sales associates, merchandisers, administrative assistants, service crews, kitchen staff, and customer service representatives.

    Four overseas employers will also attend, providing positions for plumbers, electricians, carpenters, repair and mechanic assistants, ordinary seamen, and machine operators.
