Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Digital School to strengthen digital education, skill development, and global learning opportunities. The agreement reflects a shared goal to build inclusive, future-ready education systems that support employability and lifelong learning.
Signed at the HBMSU campus in Dubai, the MoU sets a structured framework for collaboration in digital learning innovation. Both institutions will work together to design advanced online learning models, share academic and technical expertise, and launch joint pilot projects focused on future skills.
Under the partnership, HBMSU and The Digital School will co-develop high-quality digital learning content and capacity-building programs. These initiatives will be delivered through platforms such as the Global SkillED Academies, with a strong emphasis on practical, job-relevant skills. The collaboration also aims to align education with workforce needs by creating learning-to-earning pathways, especially for underserved and vulnerable communities.
A key focus of the MoU is scale and sustainability. The two organizations plan to mobilize technical and financial resources to expand successful digital learning initiatives across regions. By doing so, they aim to improve access to education for learners who face geographic, economic, or social barriers.
HBMSU Chancellor Dr. Mansoor Al Awar said the partnership supports the university’s mission to grow its global presence through flexible and inclusive digital education. He noted that the collaboration will help learners gain the skills needed to succeed in a fast-changing job market.
