LRN & Taibah Institute Join to Boost Vocational Training in Saudi

    • Partnership to offer UK vocational qualifications across Saudi Arabia.
    • Focus on skill development, employability, and educational innovation under Vision 2030.
    • Collaboration to include teacher training and capacity-building initiatives.

The Learning Resource Network (LRN), a UK-based awarding organisation, has partnered with Taibah Institute, Medina, and its affiliate ELSO Academy to deliver a range of British vocational qualifications in Saudi Arabia. The alliance aims to enhance skill-based education and support Saudi Vision 2030’s Human Capability Development Programme, which focuses on preparing citizens for a modern workforce.

Under the partnership, Taibah Institute and ELSO Academy will now operate as authorised LRN centres, offering globally recognised qualifications in fields such as Business Management, Health and Social Care, Engineering, Teacher Training, IT, and English Language. The courses combine theoretical learning with practical training to meet the evolving needs of Saudi employers.

This collaboration will also introduce new vocational pathways, enabling learners to progress from secondary education to professional and higher qualifications. It strengthens the link between UK expertise and Saudi Arabia’s growing demand for workforce-ready graduates.

Dr Muhammad Zohaib Tariq, CEO of LRN, said the partnership aims to empower Saudi learners through internationally benchmarked qualifications that prepare them for a knowledge-driven economy.

The partnership also includes teacher development and quality assurance initiatives, setting a new standard for vocational education in the Kingdom.
