ODM Educational Group, one of India's most respected and fastest-growing K-12 school networks, has made a significant leap in its global expansion by establishing its first international campus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This milestone was achieved through the acquisition of Sabari Indian School, a KHDA 'Good' rated CBSE school located in the Deira locality. This move marks ODM’s entry into the international education arena, placing it among the select few Indian K-12 institutions to expand abroad.
This achievement underscores ODM Educational Group's ambition to bring Indian educational excellence to a global platform, while staying deeply rooted in Indian values. The acquisition of Sabari Indian School represents a key step in the Group’s journey to create a world-class network of schools, with a focus on innovation and progressive education. The advisory excellence behind this strategic transaction was supported by distinguished partners, with legal counsel from Pinac Law and Al Tamimi & Company, and strategic financial advisory services provided by Mridyaa Ventures.
Founded in Odisha, ODM Educational Group has come a long way since its inception, expanding into a multi-state educational leader. With campuses across Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi NCR, and now the UAE, the Group serves over 11,500 students, supported by a dedicated team of 2,000 educators and professionals across seven campuses. Over the last two decades, ODM has built a reputation for academic excellence, instilling strong value systems, and integrating sports, creativity, and innovation into its educational model. With its entry into Dubai, ODM has now transitioned from being a nationally admired institution to a globally recognized education brand.

Swoyan Satyendu, CEO of ODM Educational Group, commented on this milestone, saying, “ODM was born in Odisha with a vision to redefine K-12 education through excellence, empathy, and innovation. Over the years, our journey has expanded across states, impacting thousands of young lives. This step into Dubai is a natural progression, a reflection of our commitment to take Indian education and values to a global stage”. Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, Chairman of ODM, also shared his vision, adding, “Our goal is not just geographical expansion, but the creation of learning ecosystems that nurture global citizens while staying deeply connected to Indian ethos”.
The global expansion has been spearheaded by Newron, the education arm of ODM Educational Group, which ensures that the academic, technological, and operational standards of ODM schools, both in India and abroad, remain consistent and world-class. The Dubai campus will follow the established ODM model, which focuses on holistic education, combining academic excellence, international exposure, and character development. Additionally, the campus will offer opportunities for cross-cultural learning, student exchanges, and faculty collaborations between the Indian and UAE campuses, enriching the educational experience for students on both sides.
This new chapter in Dubai is just the beginning of ODM Educational Group’s broader international vision. The Group aims to establish a global network of schools that reflect India’s educational strengths, discipline, innovation, and values, while adapting to the aspirations of learners worldwide. As ODM continues to grow, its focus will remain on providing education that prepares students not just for exams, but for life equipping them with the skills and values needed to navigate an increasingly interconnected and dynamic world.
