FOFA’s history is deeply rooted in the transformative growth of arts education in Thailand. Originating in 1968 as the Division of Arts Education at the College of Education, Prasarnmit, it was the first academic institution in Thailand to offer undergraduate degrees in arts. Following its promotion to the Department of Arts and Cultures in 1975, and later as the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1993, it has continually expanded its offerings.
